When “Procrastination” meets “Creative block”

We all encounter this awkward situation where we feel like there’s nothing to do, in the most intense situation where we needed it to be, and it also feels like our heads and body have a mind of its own that does things we are not aware of. One of the formulas I’m talking about is the sum of creativity and procrastination divided by time. We know that time is very precious to every creative person since it is one of the factors that build the climax of every essential creations and invention we aspire. Sometimes, in the process, we encounter uncertainties and doubts that affects what we aim to achieve. We create walls on the lands where they shouldn’t be. We close doors that should be opened all times. We give up halfway over the finish line.

That’s okay. It is okay to fail. We should remember that things are not rushed. We can’t eat ramen noodles seconds after we put hot water in it. We should oblige ourselves to have patience and build steps on a stairless pathway slowly but surely. Creativity is not just a brush away. Remember that creativity is a slow process that grows eventually over time, and you’ll be happy with the outcome it may become.
