Background

Plan International, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), aimed to modernize their Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar as part of the Wired for Work project, updating training materials to better connect with today’s workforce.

The goal: Develop an engaging, accessible, and learner-friendly eLearning course that educates job seekers and employees on employment guidelines, wages and benefits, safe working conditions, and safe migration—critical information especially for young workers and first-time job seekers.

The Challenge

While Plan International already had the core content in PowerPoint and traditional training materials, they needed expert help to:

• Convert static content into an engaging digital learning experience

• Make the course relevant and appealing to millennials and Gen Z learners

• Ensure it could be deployed for both self-paced learning and hybrid (blended) training
